Letters for Portugal is an invitation for you.
Dear artists, creative minds, dear colleques,
Letters for Portugal – is a movement and an exhibition. The project will give everyone of us a voice to speak for hope, love, energy and new ideas to bring Portugal through the crises. It is an interactive exhibition-event providing everyone of us a chance to answer the question with our own, individual voice:
How do we make Portugal survive the crises, keeping it sane, mentally and artistically?
Idea of the letter
Using letter as a form of expression, instead of speedy new media, we ask all participants to “festina lente” (make haste slowly) – think or reflect about the best and most fruitful ideas for Portugal. Inspired by MailArt we ask you to put the ideas in a letter of what ever artistic form it might take: photos, poems, drawings, writing, films, lyrics, sculptures and more.
The exhibition will show visual letters from artists around the world and the contribution will be wallpapered on the wall in Gallery StudioTeambox in Lx Factory from 20th of April to the 10th of June 2013 in Lisbon.
